Get to know our Customer Lead Glenn!

One of TIQQEs most important values is Awesomeness.  That for us is – to make our customers heroes, our teammates awesome, be positive and cheer our teammates on. That is why we’re really excited to welcome our new Customer Lead. With his technical, and interpersonal skills he always makes sure that no one is left behind and that everyone is on the right path. Both customers and teammates.

Warm Welcome to the TIQQE family!

Who is Glenn?

I’m a curious guy and like to learn new things all the time. I’ve been in the IT-business for more than 20 years and I have had my hands in many different cookie jars during that time. I guess I like doing lots of different stuff rather than going deep in just a few.

I really like working together with others trying to solve problems and come up with ideas, but I can also be a bit of an introvert who needs time on my own for reflecting on things. In my spare time I really enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and I like to exercise as much as I can.

What do you do at TIQQE?

I’m working as Customer Lead in our Delta Team, which is a group of extremely talented Cloud Architects who help our customers as well as our developer teams with their AWS environments. It can be cloud security, networking, cost optimization and much more.
My role is to make sure that the team can focus on being awesome. 🙂

What has been your first impression of TIQQE?

My impression so far is that the people here are very friendly and keen on making you feel as a part of the community. It’s easy and accessible to get help when you need it as a newcomer. I’m also amazed by how many talented and passionate people there are here. I’m learning tons of new stuff!

Looking out 3 to 5 years, what do you think will be the next big change in your industry?

I’m not sure there will be a really big change in the industry in the coming 3-5 years. My guess is that technologies like AI, blockchain, IoT and 5G will slowly be implemented in more and more applications. I think security will be a big challenge for many companies in the coming years and also the lack of IT competence. So maybe that will force some major changes in the business.

If a kid walked up to you asking for your advice regarding anything, and you only had a few minutes to give ‘em your best tip, what would it be?

Don’t be stressed out if you don’t know what you want to do in life. Focus on doing things you find interesting and that you are good at and the rest will fall into place at some point. Also try to always make decisions that are good for you, people around you and for the planet.
