Meet Rol Teano. He’s an important part of one of our fastest growing teams. If he would introduce himself with a one-liner, it would be: I’m a software developer in the morning and gamer at night!
Who is Rol?
I was born on a very small island in Cebu but grew up in two cities with a superb childhood. I love dancing, singing and playing sports. Not very outgoing but loves to go on vacations from time to time with family and friends. I Love animals (except snakes!) and I am a nature lover.
What do you do at TIQQE?
I work as a Full-Stack developer in the Munters team
What has been your first impression of TIQQE?
What stood out is that TIQQE is a very diverse company where talents and skills are well taken care of and career growth is impressive.
Looking out 3 to 5 years, what do you think will be the next big change in your industry?
Technology is always growing in a fast-paced manner where things are getting obsolete before you know it. For the next 3-5 years, I am looking forward to the AI technology to grow more than what we have right now. Things like software automations, biotechnology improvements where human DNAs can be modified and possibly cure diseases. More open-source projects and career growth for software engineers.
If a kid walked up to you asking for your advice regarding anything, and you only had a few minutes to give ‘em your best tip, what would it be?
That you don’t need to eat the entire cake to know if it tastes good or not, just like life, take it easy and always choose happiness over material things.
