One of our cultural values is “Distributed”. We have that because we don’t belive it matter where you live. Our teams works in the cloud, online, regardess location and we know that even if you’re not in the same room – you can still interact – pairprogram – have a fika – and help eachother grow. We welcome Marcus, our first northen star.
Who is Marcus?
I am 30 years old, and since last year I’m living in Östersund together with my wife Mikaela. We moved here to get closer to the mountains since we enjoy a variety of outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and hunting.
What do you do at TIQQE?
I’m a full stack developer in the retail team.
What has been your first impression of TIQQE?
The biggest thing is how welcoming everyone has been. I feel like TIQQE has managed to gather a lot of great people, which makes it an awesome place to work.
What would you say is your biggest strength as a developer?
I try to see the bigger picture and understand how the features I’m working on fit into it. I would also like to think that I’m not afraid to try new things.
If a kid walked up to you asking for your advice regarding anything, and you only had a few minutes to give ‘em your best tip, what would it be?
Do more of the things that make you happy, and don’t worry about what other people might think
